For the third time my Facebook account has been suspended in the last six months, could be even less haven't been counting. When the "Prove You're Human" thing comes up and I know that Facebook is going to suspend my account for a minimum of 1 hour. potentially 48 hours, sometimes more. Not particularly user-friendly I can tell you.
Last two times I managed to contact the "help-bot" to clear things up, now that feature is not even working. Yup, can't use the help chat, won't work. Refreshing the page does nothing. The help-chat just doesn't seem to want to come up at all; opens, then closes itself.
Times like these when I am tempted to simply close my account/s. The only reason I have a Facebook account is to keep in contact with people who I would not otherwise be able to contact easily. I may simply just move back to email again. At least my Google account seems more stable than my Facebook account.
Anyway, looks like I either have to create another account. ... Tried that, didn't work "There was a problem with your registration." Yeah, tried a different name, tried mobile number instead of email accounts (which which leads you back to the "you have been suspended" screen). Tried an email account which is not registered on Facebook, still no joy.
It is looking more and more likely that my Facebook account will be suspended, or at least, I will be very tempted to dump the lot like a hot rock, and go a little "old school". Yup, it's going to be emails and phone stuff for a while I think... See how it all goes.
Sure as hell gives a person another good reason to stay away from social media.
